CRELLA Winter Research Seminar 2019. There will be talks by Prof Lynda Taylor, Prof Tony Green, and our invited speaker Dr Lyn May (Queensland University of Technology), among others.Topics include:


  • The role of academic institutions in the development of language assessment
  • Investigating the constructs of reading-into-writing and listening-into-writing summary tasks
  • Investigating the effect of extended planning time on a listening-into-speaking task
  • Artificial Intelligence & Natural Language Processing: Implications for language testing
  • Scaling and scheming: the highs and lows of scoring writing
