The ILTA Code of Practice Committee [Alan Davies, chair, Charles Alderson, Antony Kunnan, Glenn Fulcher, Randy Thrasher, Liz Hamp-Lyons, and Charles Stansfield] are pleased to present the draft Code of Practice to the ILTA membership for their consideration. The Draft CoP was approved at the ILTA Annual Business Meeting during the Language Testing Research Colloquium in Ottawa, July 22, 2005. In the coming months, language testers around the world are encouraged to discuss the CoP and suggest amendments, particularly those that will make the Code more practicable in their own regional and local contexts. Comments on the draft may be sent to Alan Davies or to the ILTA President, Glenn Fulcher.
